We understand that your Motorcycle is your pride and joy, and ensuring mechanical longevity is one of the most important things to you.
With this in mind, we have provided you with a list of necessary checks we believe you should perform often to ensure your motorcycle is in the best condition possible.
As the components of the suspension start to wear out, you will likely notice that your journeys become more bumpy. This is caused by the tires losing contact with the road then they should be.
To prevent this, make sure that you are keeping an eye out when on your journeys.
You may notice that there is fluid leaking down the side of your suspension.
If you are to notice this, then you will need to ensure that you get this seen asap. If this is left unfixed, then it will cause long term damage to the suspension.
When your suspension has started to wear out, your tyres will most likely be affected.
This is because your motorcycle will not be able to keep the tyres fully on the ground. Meaning that they will start to bounce when riding on a road.
You are most likely going to notice this by taking a look at the tire thread. This will be able to confirm if there is any damage.
If you begin to notice that your brakes are taking longer to work, this is a big sign that your suspension has worn out.
This can become really dangerous to yourself and other road users, as you need to make sure that your brakes are in working order at all times.
As mentioned before, you should always ensure that you are frequently carrying out these checks on your motorcycle to prevent any long term problems.
If you believe that your motorcycle is experiencing any of the above, then make sure you get in touch with MH Suspension today! We will be able to help and guide you with any questions or concerns you may have regarding your motorcycle’s suspension.
